Biography
tw: none caleb is a boring no trauma kid. to be edited but basic change run down, caleb lived in attilan for a shorter amount of time
caleb was born and raised on attilan, and was raised an orphan due to his parents passing before he turned a year old. growing up on attilan the greatest honour any person could have was to succesfully under go terrigenesis, and come out with strong powers.as a kid undergoing terrigenesis was never an option, because his foster father wouldnt allow it in fear of bringing shame to his family should caleb fail the process. but wanting to prove everyone wrong, he convinced his foster sibling, who was 9 years old just as he was, to allow him to take their place in the process after their father decided to have them undergo it early and the kid didnt feel prepared but had no choice.somehow caleb managed to pull this act off long enough to sneak his way into the ceremonial place and be exposed to the terrigen mist with all the other partcipants. when exposed to the mist caleb formed what the inhumans called a terrigen cocoon, where he would stay for the next year, the longest any inhuman had ever been in a cocoon, and emerge with extraordinary powers.emerging from his cocoon with no idea how much time had passed, caleb looked different than he had when he began the process. his hair once a pitch black had become a blinding glow of white and yellow, his eyes nearly white, and his skin giving off a light that seemed to come from him. immediately after his emergence caleb was arrested for violating the laws of such a sacred ritual and was brought before the high council for sentencing. if it were not for the fact that caleb's powers were something they saw value in caleb wouldve been exiled from attilan and forced to survive on his own in human society.due to the strength of his powers caleb was elevated to a high position in his society and was expected to be one of his peoples leaders and protectors in the future. though this was a great honour to him and appreciated the opportunity caleb wanted for a different life, he felt he should do more not just for his people but for the world and so when he was 16 he left attilan to learn more about humans and discover if there was anyway to mend the hate and predjudice his people had for humans. thus leading him to genesis.
Powers & Abilities
solar manipulation: user can create, shape, and manipulate all aspects of sun, starting from its immense heat, luminosity, mass/gravitational field, magnetic field, raw nuclear energy, and reaction.
solar energy absorption: user cab absorb solar energy, hile removing it from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantages, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as power source, ect.
solar immunity: user us immune to solar energy, being completely invulnerable to direct and indirect effects. is naturally immune to negative solar effects such as sunburn, solar radiation, fire, and extreme heat.
solarportation: can teleport via solar energy/substances, merging into the solar energy and appearing anywhere else from the same.
eclispe manipulation: user can create, shape and manipulate energy emitted during an eclipse. for it to be done, a combination of solar and lunar energies must be formed
plant growth: user can influence and accelerate the growth of plants causing flowers and other plants to bloom instantaneously, causing them to mature with supernatural speed, grow to unusual size, and produce in abundance. the user can cause plants to grow from seeds to mature plants in moments, cause them to flower and fruit outside of season, and cause a damaged plant to regenerate.
photosynthesis: user can use photosynthesis, allowing them to efficiently collect radiant energy and convert it into chemical energy stored in the bonds of organic molecules. this can be used to strengthen and heal oneself while exposed to sunlight and forego the need for food.
Weaknesses & Limitations
overloading: absorbing too much power could result in incapacitation or death.
overuse: using more than stored energy may exhaust the user after expending too much energy.
lunar energy: is weak to lunar energy attacks.
children: if you threaten to hurt a kid he'll do pretty much whatever you want.
pollution: growing up in attilan caleb was never exposed to pollution, as the technology there was so far advanced that they had none. due to this the air of earth is actually toxic to him, and he must photosynthesize more often than he had to while living in attilan in order to remain mostly healthy.
eclipse manipulation: only able to use in combination with the divine pair.
Headcanons
every morning at sunrise caleb goes outside to photosynthesize for a few hours, either just laying in the sun or walking about... but mostly just laying down like a starfish.
they dont need to eat due to photosynthesis, and they honestly prefers the "taste" of the sun to any other foods.
wherever he walks he makes it a point to make small dandlions or little flowers sprout around his feet.
his biggest dream in life is to go to the sun and reach its core.
he volunteers at children's centers and grows plants as a party trick for kids.
when he's low on solar energy the more human he looks, with his hair turning a dirt brown and his eyes losing their glow as well as his skin.
on rainy/cloudy days they have to leave for somewhere with sunlight, or stay inside all day wearing a breathing aparatus designed to mimic the air of attilan or else they risk suffocating
in attilan his personality/energy is 10x more than it is outside of it, therefore what everyone sees is only only a portion of what he's really like due to the way pollution affects him.
because technology on attilan is very advanced, they find the rest of earth's technology to be very primitive and confusing.
when caleb first left attilan, he didnt live in the big cities because of all the pollution made him uncomfortable, but rather lived in any nearby woods making literal treehouses with his powers
on attilan marriage is an arranged affair, to produce the strongest offspring. therefore caleb has a fiance back home

being from attilan, everyone is given an arranged marriage partner as soon as they get their powers, whether it's to pass on strong genes or form an alliance. caleb and muse b are each other's fiances. while its considered an honor to be granted a marriage, caleb isnt sure they feel the same anymore after living outside attilan for so long, and questions if they want to eventually go through with it or not. its completely up to you whether muse b feels the same or if they still want the marriage to happen.
